This Ben Nye Fresh Scab is great for creating authentic brown-red blood tint for old "aged blood" effects. It doesn't completely 'set', but the outer layer 'scabs over'. Create realistic 3-D blood effects for wounds, abrasion, lacerations, etc.  Fresh Scab will not drip, or run and can be washed away after use.

Directions:

  • Apply Fresh Scab with a modelling tool, spatula or fingers to the prosthetic wound
  • Simulate blood splatter with a stipple sponge
  • Add a few drops of Stage Blood or Dark Blood, if desired
  • For road rash drag or scapes, stipple sponge in quick motions against the skin
  • To remove cleanly use Hydra Cleanse, or soap and water
