The SAM IO Adaptor is designed to accommodate alternative IO needle sets designed for other drivers so that they can be utilised with the SAM IO Driver.
Creating a backup to a battery powered IO device, which enables a cost effective solution by continued use of existing IO needle inventory, reducing waste and procurement costs.
The SAM IO® Adaptor enables the SAM IO® Driver to be used with compatible third-party intraosseous needles, including the EZ-IO® Needle Set. The adaptor securely snaps around the hub of the IO needle before connecting to the driver, providing a simple and reliable solution for organisations operating mixed IO systems.
Compact, lightweight and simple to use, the SAM IO® Adaptor offers additional flexibility for ambulance services, emergency departments, military medical teams and critical care environments where rapid vascular access is essential. The adaptor is intended for use only in accordance with the relevant Instructions for Use and is not designed for use with SAM IO® Needle Assemblies, which attach directly to the SAM IO® Driver without the adaptor.

The IFU also specifies that SAM IO® Needle Assemblies must not be used with the adaptor and should always be attached directly to the SAM IO® Driver, ensuring safe and correct operation. Additionally, the adaptor is not intended for sternal. use.

We aim to get your order to you as quickly and reliably as possible. Most orders are processed within 1–2 working days, with a range of delivery options available at checkout, including next working day services for urgent requirements. Orders placed after the daily cut-off will be processed on the next working day.
All deliveries are handled by DPD or Royal Mail, and you’ll receive a tracking number and delivery updates once your order has been dispatched. Deliveries are made on working days (Monday–Friday) unless a Saturday service is specially requested (please contact us). A signature may be required, and if you miss your delivery, instructions will be provided to rearrange or collect it.
Delivery times and charges may vary depending on your location, with different options available for UK mainland, offshore addresses, and international orders.
If you need to return an item, you can do so within 14 days of delivery as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. To arrange a return, you’ll need authorisation before sending the item back. Once received and inspected, refunds are processed within a few working days, and where applicable, the standard delivery cost will be included in your refund.
In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please notify us within 72 hours so we can resolve the issue quickly.
