Why Choose the SAM IO® Stabiliser?
Maintaining secure intraosseous access is essential once vascular access has been established in emergency situations. The SAM IO® Stabiliser is designed to help keep the IO catheter securely in place throughout fluid administration, medication delivery and patient movement. Its low-profile foam design and strong adhesive fixation provide dependable stabilisation without adding unnecessary bulk, making it an essential component of the SAM IO® system for emergency responders and healthcare professionals.
The simple application process allows clinicians to secure the IO catheter quickly while reducing the likelihood of accidental movement or dislodgement, helping to maintain reliable access throughout patient transfer and ongoing treatment. The sterile, EO-sterilised, single-use design supports infection prevention protocols in both pre-hospital and hospital settings, making it a trusted accessory for emergency vascular access. The IFU also specifies that the stabiliser is not intended for sternal use.
