The Ventiseal Endotracheal Tube is for airway management by intubation. These ET tubes are designed to reduce the risk of vocal cord injury and tracheal necrosis through an optimal volume cuff with ideal pressure distribution and effective sealing. The thin ultra-smooth cuff wall reduces abrasive creases and folds, conforms to the tracheal contours and provides an effective seal.
The cuff shape and length of the VentiSeal Endotracheal Tube enables the pressure to be distributed over a larger surface area, minimising the pressure placed on the tracheal wall and reducing the risk of tracheal wall necrosis.
