At DS Medical we are proud that we design and manufacture our bags in the UK, and our manufacturer is ISO 9001:2015 certified ensuring quality and service are of the highest standards.
Our range of medical bags have been developed over many years, using customer feedback and the latest technology and materials, ensuring that they are fit of purpose and the best bags available. These are extensively used throughout the NHS ambulance services and continue to this day.
The DS Medical Premier Response Bag was designed in conjunction with West Midlands Ambulance Service as a BLS Bag and is constructed of Cordura fabric, 840 denier and come with internal pouches. It has been in service for many years.
The DS Medical Premier Modular Response Bag is also constructed of Cordura fabric, 840 denier, with internal pouches. An ideal response bag for emergency responders and retrieval services, seeing many years of service.
Infection Control
For infection control situations our bags are impregnated at manu facture with fluid repellent and anti-microbial (Ultra-Fresh) that lasts the lifespan of the bag.

Wherever bacteria, mould, mildew, and fungi compromise product performance, Ultra-Fresh® will take control. Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial treatment inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi responsible for creating unpleasant smells and staining in textile and plastic products. By controlling unwanted microbes, Ultra-Fresh antimicrobials help to keep products fresh, clean, and odour-free.
Easily Applied
Ultra-Fresh is applied at the manufacturing stage to enhance the products. It can be incorporated into the product at manufacturing.

Ultra-Fresh has had to pass the most stringent testing procedures for safety and efficacy to meet international regulatory guidelines. Ultra-Fresh is US EPA registered, BPR compliant and Oeko-Tex listed, and complies with all regulatory requirements of each country where it is used.
Ultra-Fresh acknowledge their social responsibility, we have partnered with bluesign® in our joint initiative for the removal of harmful substances and practices from the manufacturing process.
