The Powerheart G5 AED uses a medical grade Intellisense lithium battery for high performance and peace of mind. Each Intellisense battery can deliver up to 500 shocks and at least nine shocks after the AED indicates the battery is low.
This product comes with a 4 year full operational replacement guarantee from the date of installation.
Please note that the battery has a date of manufacture printed on and can be stored for upto 5 years from the date of manufacture before being inserted into your AED.
Important note: If your G5 AED is beeping and the symbol is RED please ensure that you have also checked the expiry date of your electrode pads. Electrodes that have expired will cause the device to beep and show a RED rescue ready symbol. To check the level of your existing battery you can open the lid of the AED and view the battery meter. You will see 4 green LED’s and each green LED that lights up means that you have 25% battery life so if all 4 are lit then the battery ia 100% full.
