DS Medical help supply paediatric critical care retrieval teams with customised response bags

DS Medical are pleased to have assisted in the supply to Southampton & Oxford Retrieval Team (SORT) and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (CATS) with personalised Rocksnake Viper trolley bags. 

DS Medical have an exclusive UK agreement with Rocksnake, a renowned Austrian manufacturer of rescue and response bags. The Viper trolley bag range was identified as most suitable for deployment with retrieval teams, emergency evacuation and community response teams. The design is modular and flexible which enables key equipment to be transported with minimal lifting, utilising the heavy-duty rollers built into the design to take the effort out of transportation. 

Traditional bags used by these critical care paediatric teams are usually carried on their backs, which could be extremely heavy. This not only created a potential risk of back problems, it also slowed down the response time for the team to get to a patient. 

The Rocksnake Viper Range is modular in concept making it perfect for many differing scenarios. Being flexible in design aids the use of different treatment regimens and its heavy-duty PVC is able to be wiped clean whilst being very durable.
